This weeks game saw bardag making a vist to spring farm park to take on coral in a league 2 match. The weather played havok with the league fixtures with only good groundsman work got the game playable with a late pitch inspection.

The game started with bardag kicking off both teams trying to get used to the conditions of windy weather and a soggy pitch in the first ten minutes it was pretty much a bore with both team canceling out each other then a freekick was awarded to coral 25 yards out which matt peacock let fly with a aid of a slight deflection nestled in to the bottom left hand corner 1-0 bardag resumed the game fighting to get a hold of the game but it wasnt to be when adam foggo whipped in a corner only to meet dan peacocks head like a bullet to go in off the bar making it 2-0 after the goal bardag had the wind took out of thier sails where they had little to threaten coral
H/T 2-0
Coral then kicked off the second half with great determination when matt peacock let tony howe loose with a pass where he played hop scotch and then leap frog to get in behind the defence to shoot /cross towards goal only for the bardag defender to rifle home a own goal ?????? (not sure he knew they changed halfs) 3-0 bardag kicked off looking to go forward but only could create half chances and a few long range efforts which mainly hit the corner flag or dave trusty linesman with bardag pushing forward left space at the back for matt peacock to pick the ball up jiggle his way through 4 players like jive bunny and then to slot home the ball past the keeper which was covered in mud and in need of his pants pulled up.4-0
The game by then was in the bag only for coral to lose concentration in thier box for bardag to sneak a shot in to the left hand corner making it 4-1. With 10 mins left on the clock ben jones was set free only for a defender to block his shot which kindly fell to alex schofield (no relation to philip schofield) to put the ball in the empty net only for the linesman to flag offside (NEVER) to disallow the goal. Coral then managed to break down the right hand side with adam latching on to a quick freekick by northen clean kit richard banks to feed matt to dispach a shot through the keepers legs making it 5-1 and a hat-trick final whistle blew 5mins after with coral taking all 3 points and assured that there would be no write up in the dagenham post this week from bardag like there was last time these sides met.
